US Masters 2010 Testimonial......

Kaye and I went to Augusta National for the 2010 Masters with Geoff Burke & Golf Destinations. We were part of a party of 10 hosted by Geoff and chaperoned by Paul.
Our accommodation was in a 2 storey five bedroom house was first class in a lovely tree lined street. The first day was spent at the practice session which is certainly worth the journey being of a relaxed atmosphere. Day 2 and 4 we played golf at the Augusta Country Club along with Steve and Brian. A superb golf course with an air of grace and dignity. We had a lot of fun with these two guys who turned out to be an easy touch!!
We attended the masters on the second and last day which, in our opinion, was a great choice. Seeing the full field and then the final day. Augusta National is awesome. Pristine fairways with plenty of vantage points to watch the best in the world tackle a golf course that requires precision ball placement. This event is a must for any that wish to travel overseas and witness a class act at a class golf course.
We were given plenty of space by Geoff and free to do pretty much what we liked along with having our days totally organised.
I have rated it 8 out of 10 only failing through the pretty ordinary food offered at the restaurants and eateries in Augusta.
Our trip was a memorable occasion and one that we most certainly will be repeating some time in the future.
